Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2025
DayWall: Calendar Wallpaper (“the App”) is a native iOS application that displays your device’s calendar and can export a rendered image. This policy describes how the App handles your information.
Data collection
The App does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external server. There is no account, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.
Data used on your device
The App uses the following data only on your device:
- Calendar data — With your permission, the App reads calendar events from your device (via Apple’s EventKit) to show the month view and today/tomorrow list. This data is not sent anywhere and is not stored by the App beyond normal iOS behavior.
- Photo Library (optional) — If you choose to save an exported PNG to your Photo Library, the App requests write access only to save that image. It does not read or access your existing photos.
Storage
Display preferences (e.g. first day of week, margins, colors) are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. No preference data is sent to any server.
Third parties
The App does not share your data with third parties. Calendar and photo access are handled entirely by iOS on your device.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
